Job summary

Steno is seeking a Records Retrieval Coordinator (In-Person) to manage the physical handling of medical record requests at our Los Angeles office. You will assemble, package, and ship packets, track shipments, and collaborate with Finance to ensure pre-payments are included, all while maintaining HIPAA safeguards.

Qualifications

• Experience handling physical records and shipments.
• High attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently in an on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the physical workflow: assemble, package, and ship medical record request packets with accuracy.
• Track outgoing shipments and process incoming mail/records to prevent delays.
• Coordinate with Finance to obtain provider pre-payments and ensure completeness.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect sensitive documents.
