Job summary

Foley Equipment is seeking a Railcar Mover Resident Field Technician based in eastern or southeastern Colorado. You will perform on-site troubleshooting, service and repair of railcar movers at customer locations, representing Foley Equipment professionally to keep critical operations running safely and reliably.

The role requires hands-on mechanical work, basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, and the ability to read specifications.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature.
• Ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and preventive maintenance on railcar moving equipment and evaluate for other preventative maintenance items.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, recommend repairs, and perform critical repairs and adjustments.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Travel to training or assist at other locations as needed.
