Foley Equipment is seeking a Railcar Mover Resident Field Technician/Mechanic based in eastern or southeastern Colorado, covering Colby, KS area as needed. You will perform on-site diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on railcar movers at customer sites, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Formación

• Basic mechanical knowledge of diesel, electrical and hydraulics.
• Ability to read specs, service manuals, and technical bulletins.
• Ability to obtain CDL Class A or B.

Responsabilidades

• Perform repair and preventive maintenance on railcar moving equipment and advise on additional PM items.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, recommend repairs, and perform critical adjustments.
• Test and verify proper operation after repairs and adjustments.
• Communicate professionally with customers about repairs and maintenance plans.
• Develop long-lasting relationships with customers and support site work locations.
• Be willing to work overtime and travel for training or to assist other locations.
