Job summary

Mount Nittany Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist Registered Radiology in State College, PA. This on-site role requires ARRT registration, BLS, and two years of radiology training. You will perform radiologic examinations under supervision and ensure patient safety.

You will greet patients, position them for exams, and operate CR/DR equipment while maintaining ALARA standards. Strong teamwork and communication with staff and physicians are essential.

Qualifications

• Must function as a team member and work cooperatively with patients, staff and physicians.
• ARRT registration in Radiology is required.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required and renewed every two years.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic exams (portable, C-arm, fluoroscopic, urological, special procedures) under supervision.
• Greets patients warmly and confirms identity and exam details.
• Positions patients and applies correct technique to obtain proper views.
• Operates CR, Fluoro and DR equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transfers images to PACS, routes documents, and handles start/stop procedures.
