Penn Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures in Diagnostic Radiology, ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality radiographic services. You will operate digital equipment, position patients, and maintain imaging records while upholding hospital policies and radiation protection protocols.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology Program.

Qualificações

• Must have ARRT credential (Required)
• ARRT eligible and registered within one year of hire date
• Basic Life Support (Required)

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine X-ray studies in General X-ray using stationary and portable equipment
• Operates digital imaging equipment and CR system
• Performs radiographic studies in O.R. and on nursing units with portable X-ray
• Maintains radiation protection practices (dosimetry, shielding)
• Prepares supplies and patient radiographic exams
• Ensures exam room is clean and stocked
• Instructs radiographic students on proper procedures
• Maintains and troubleshoots equipment with Service Company as needed
• Verifies patient identity and orders before imaging
• Provides patient education and communicates delays to patients
• Assists other radiology areas when assigned
