Job summary

JTEC Consulting LLC is seeking experts in quantum physics with superconducting qubits to support a federal government program on cutting-edge qubit technologies.

The role emphasizes leading research efforts, reviewing literature, and developing testing methodologies while communicating complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders. This on-site position requires U.S. citizenship or clearance eligibility and a collaborative, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or related field preferred; qualified candidates with a master's degree will be considered.
• A minimum of 5 years of related professional experience; related research activity will be considered.
• At least one publication in a related subject area.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and expertise in the area of quantum information science.
• Assimilate and integrate technical inputs from performers and analyze technical deliverables and reports.
• Assist the government’s technical element in the management of superconducting portfolio.
• Conduct technical writing and materials for presentation.
• Conduct independent review and summaries of related technical literature and emerging technologies and participate in technical exchanges and workshops related to program technical areas.
• Develop and document testing methodology and protocols, ensuring they align with program technology components.
• Coordinate, align, and schedule technology development tasks and perform continuous analysis of technical progress in comparison to planned cost and schedule.
• Perform technical and programmatic risk analysis/review and tracking.
