Job summary
JTEC Consulting LLC is seeking Quantum Physicists to support a federal government program in an on-site role in College Park, MD. Relocation assistance is possible for strong candidates with active clearance or ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities include research in quantum information science, technical writing, literature review, and coordination of development tasks. Candidates should have PhD in Physics or related field and 5+ years of experience.
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics or related field preferred; master’s considered.
- 5+ years of related professional experience; related research experience considered.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and expertise in quantum information science.
- Assimilate and integrate technical inputs and analyze deliverables and reports.
- Conduct technical writing and develop briefing materials using MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Review related literature and participate in conferences and workshops.
- Develop and document testing methodologies aligned with program components.
- Assess results against program metrics and costs/schedule.
- Coordinate technology development tasks and monitor progress.
