Job summary

JTEC Consulting LLC is seeking Quantum Physicists to work in support of a federal government program. This is an opportunity to work in a cutting-edge program environment. All work will be on-site and relocation assistance will be considered.

Qualified candidates should have the ability to envision and articulate new areas of research, lead efforts, and transition those efforts for future development, while monitoring ongoing progress and communicating concepts with clarity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or related field preferred; master's considered.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Current U.S. government security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
• Ability to write concisely and persuasively.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and expertise in quantum information science.
• Assimilate and analyze technical inputs and deliverables.
• Prepare briefing materials and program documentation with MS Word/PowerPoint.
• Review literature and participate in conferences related to program areas.
• Develop testing methodology aligned with program components.
• Assess results against program metrics.
• Coordinate tasks and monitor progress vs. cost/schedule.
• Perform risk analysis and programmatic reviews.
