Job summary

Martinic Engineering Inc. is seeking a quality inspector for on-site daily inspections of parts. The role requires reading blueprints, performing first article and in-process checks, and ensuring products meet all test requirements before shipment.

Responsibilities include preparing FAIR/DIP reports, recording measurements with precision tools, and communicating discrepancies to the Quality Manager for corrective action. ITAR considerations apply; candidates must be U.S. persons.

Qualifications

Must be able to read/understand manufacturing blueprints.
Must be able to interpret specifications and apply tolerance data.
Must be able to calculate blueprint dimensions and perform mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

Performs first article, in-process and final inspections.
Reads blueprints or engineering specs to obtain product information.
Measures dimensions using precision instruments to ensure products meet specs.
Locates reference points and measures angles, arcs, radii, using precision tools.
Performs final inspections and ensures only acceptable products move to next operation or shipment.
Prepares inspection reports and documents, including discrepancies and corrective actions.
Communicates findings to Quality Manager and other functions to resolve issues.
Verifies paperwork and certs are valid and correct for each job packet.
