We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspection Technician to support inspection activities for precision machined components. This role is responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections using a variety of metrology tools in both a quality lab and production environment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and hands-on experience with inspection equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined components
- Conduct inspections in a quality room/lab environment to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
- Utilize precision measurement tools including micrometers, microscopes, CMMs, and other metrology equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications, including dimensions and tolerances
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Identify nonconformances and support corrective action processes
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspection Technician or similar role
- Hands‑on experience with micrometers, microscopes, CMM, and metrology tools
- Strong ability to read engineering drawings and understand measurements of machined components
- Experience performing inspections in a quality room/lab environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing inspections in a production/manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with GD&T
- Experience working with precision machined or electromechanical components
- Knowledge of quality systems and documentation practices
