Job summary

Barnard Construction Company, Inc. is a heavy civil construction company with projects across North America. The Quality Engineer will support project quality objectives by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality programs across all project phases.

The role requires experience in large dam or infrastructure projects and the ability to relocate to the project area in the USA. The position is on-site at project locations nationwide, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have heavy civil construction experience on large dam, infrastructure, and earthwork projects.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to relocate to project areas in the USA and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and verifies Quality programs for the Project with oversight of direct hire and Sub-Contractor work.
• Manages and coordinates Quality activities across field engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Maintains client liaison and communicates quality progress to management.
• Reviews, audits, and surveys Quality activities and reports quality problems and progress.

Skills
