Job summary

GardaWorld Federal Services is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead quality assurance, contract compliance, and safety enforcement across on-site construction operations. The role holds stop-work authority to halt construction for safety or quality issues.

It requires active leadership, rigorous QC documentation, and coordination of third-party testing. The QCM will maintain up-to-date redline drawings, oversee subcontractors, conduct daily safety walks, and participate in partner meetings

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer, graduate architect, or graduate of construction management with 5+ years of QC experience on similar contracts.
• Or 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in QC on similar contracts.
• Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
• Previous experience as Site Safety Officer or safety position.

Responsibilities

• Enforce strict quality control standards to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Coordinate, oversee, and document third-party testing and code inspections.
• Lead safety inspections, weekly meetings, and Accident Prevention Plan implementation.
• Maintain redline/as-built drawings on-site throughout the project lifecycle.
• Direct day-to-day on-site production activities and ensure schedule adherence.
• Manage on-site subcontractors and resolve field-level disputes to prevent delays.
• Lead investigations for near-misses, injuries, or safety violations and implement corrective actions.
