Job summary

Fralock is seeking a QC Inspector to perform inspections, checks and tests for quality control in our Chatsworth, CA facility. You will interpret complex drawings and test data, document results, and maintain calibration systems to ensure product readiness for shipment.

The role requires at least 2 years of quality inspection experience in controlled manufacturing (aerospace/medical or equivalent), plus proficiency with GD&T, blueprint reading, and basic measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a controlled manufacturing environment (aerospace, medical, or equivalent).
• Knowledge in blueprint reading and geometrical tolerances; use of hand-held inspection tools and templates.
• Good communication skills both oral and written; English language proficiency for technical documentation and communication.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with basic measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• MS Excel, Word, and ERP/QMS data entry proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, checks and tests for quality control for the manufacture of products.
• Interpret complex drawings, standards, procedures, and test data; document results and maintain calibration system.
• Follow procedures and inspection instructions; perform inspections with CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Identify nonconforming items and coordinate with QA/Engineering for resolution.
• Issue certificate of conformance and maintain inspection tools.
• Capture and upload inspection photos and evidence into QMS/ERP.
• Participate in containment and root-cause investigations when issues arise.
