Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, epidemiology, or related field
• At least 1 year of work experience with a public health agency or comparable organization
• Master's degree preferred
• Knowledge of epidemiology, surveillance and data-driven planning

Responsibilities

• Gather, research, and analyze health data to identify trends and priorities
• Engage with community members and organizations to build trust and inform strategies
• Design and conduct qualitative research (interviews, focus groups, observations)
• Analyze quantitative data using statistical software to identify patterns and inform interventions
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
• Monitor and evaluate health programs and track key performance indicators
• Support emergency preparedness and outbreak response activities
• Collaborate across departments to support public health modernization and grants
