Job summary

10Beauty, a robotics startup based in Burlington, MA, is seeking a hands-on R&D Electrical Technician to join our engineering team. You will build, test, and debug the electronics powering our manicure robots, working on prototypes rather than production lines, in an on-site role at our headquarters.

Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to troubleshoot, test, and validate new designs.

Qualifications

:Diploma/Associate in electronics or related field; hands-on electronics experience preferred.
:Hands-on electronics experience from work, school, or projects.
:Ability to read schematics and PCB layout files with debugging focus.
:Experience in electrical testing using DMMs, scopes, and analyzers.
:Crimping wire contacts and hand-assembly experience.
:Strong troubleshooting and methodical root-cause analysis.
:Clear documentation of tests and findings for engineers.
:Good communication and teamwork with engineers.

Responsibilities

Assemble, rework, and repair prototype circuit boards, including surface mount soldering.
Hand-assemble electrical and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies.
Crimp wires and connectors.
Read schematics and PCB layout files to trace circuits and locate faults.
Perform electrical testing with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers to validate designs.
Support engineers with schematic/layout updates and document results.
