Job summary

Transwestern is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Chicago, IL to assist the Property Manager with budget development, monthly operating reports, tenant billings, rent collection, and lease administration. You will supervise vendors, coordinate maintenance, and prepare ownership reporting to owners and investors.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in commercial property management, and strong MS 365 skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• RPA designation in progress preferred.
• Real Estate License required by state where applicable.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial property management experience.
• Strong MS 365 Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency.
• Experience with MRI, YARD or CTI is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with property management activities for a property or portfolio.
• Support lease administration and rent collection processes.
• Supervise vendors and maintenance staff to ensure service levels.
• Prepare monthly operating reports and owner deliverables.
• Assist in budget development and monitoring of operating and capital budgets.
• Coordinate tenant improvements and capital projects.
• Respond promptly to tenant needs and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and lease requirements.
