Job summary

Lancaster Campus is seeking an experienced Property Manager in Tucson, AZ to oversee all operating phases of the property and ensure customer satisfaction and fiscal stability.

Responsibilities include budgeting, rate analyses, staff supervision, and risk management. Candidates should have a Bachelor degree and progressive supervisory experience in housing management; real estate licenses or CAM/ARMs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree plus three+ years supervisory experience in property/housing management.
• Certifications in property management preferred or willingness to obtain within one year.
• Real estate license desirable.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; basic math and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage all actions that involve and/or influence the property.
• Review occupancy reports for compliance with laws and regulations.
• Conduct surveys of local rental rates and participate in establishing rates.
• Analyze operating expenses and create a management plan with budgets.
• Study housing demands and propose policy/physical changes to stay competitive.
• Implement resident retention programs and supervise on-site staff.
• Coordinate contracted services and inspect the property daily.
• Prepare periodic reports and keep supervisors, clients, and owners informed of issues.
• Report accidents or regulatory problems immediately and manage risk.
• Provide first-class customer service to residents and lead staff performance reviews.
• Hire, transfer, promote, and discipline on-site personnel; oversee training.
• Develop relationships with safety officials and local education partners.
• Oversee public relations and mediation of resident issues as needed.
