Job summary

The Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) seeks an on-site Property Manager in Seattle, WA to handle day-to-day operations of LIHI properties. You will oversee lease administration, rent collection, move-ins and move-outs, and enforce LIHI policies and fair housing laws.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance and inspections, ensuring safety and cleanliness of units and common areas, and supporting residents with services when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Experience in property management and operations, including lease administration and rent collection.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and fair housing laws.
  • Strong resident relations and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities, including budgeting and recordkeeping.
  • Problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in nonprofit or affordable housing settings is beneficial.
  • On-site work in Seattle, WA with occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee lease administration, rent collection, move-ins and move-outs.
  • Enforce property rules and regulations aligned with LIHI policies.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and regular property inspections.
  • Ensure units and common areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate with residents to address concerns and connect to supportive services.
  • Manage budgets, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to meet requirements.
