Job summary

Hyder Property Management Professionals is seeking a full-time Property Manager to oversee an affordable housing property in the nearby area. The Site Manager will directly supervise the housing community, ensuring compliance with Owner, Governing Agency and Fair Housing policies.

Responsibilities include managing 68 units, handling leasing, rent collection, and regular property inspections. Knowledge of Yardi and Payscan is expected; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be competent in basic computer skills, typing, spelling, telephone techniques and basic mathematics.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to follow the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan, and read safety and warning labels.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Management Plan, Fair Housing Marketing Plans and agency/company policies.
• Review rental applications for initial eligibility and lease apartments to tenants.
• Collect rent, issue receipts and send late rent notices; make daily bank deposits.
• Walk the property at least weekly for physical inspections and verify vacancies; conduct semi-annual unit inspections.
• Supervise maintenance and staff; manage outside contractors with bids and insurance certificates.
• Handle purchasing, purchase orders and vendor invoices; manage petty cash.
• Maintain resident relations and enforce Fair Housing policies; resolve complaints with discretion.
• Prepare and submit timecards and monthly reports to the corporate office; keep required documentation.
