Job summary

ACC Management Group is seeking a motivated Property Manager to oversee affordable housing properties with experience in project-based Section 8, LIHTC, and Rural Development programs. The role demands organization, communication skills, and attention to compliance, resident needs, and documentation.

The candidate will supervise on-site staff, coordinate lease activity, and build strong relationships with residents and vendors while ensuring policy adherence and budget awareness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of property management experience.
• Knowledge of project-based Section 8 or Section 42 LIHTC experience preferred.
• Fair housing knowledge a plus.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complexes and vacancies for showings and move-in dates.
• Communicate property features to prospects and answer questions.
• Process lease paperwork and renewals in compliance with policies.
• Maintain resident relations and respond to maintenance requests promptly.
• Supervise on-site maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors.
