Job summary

Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation is seeking an Assistant General Manager at 34 Turk Street, San Francisco. You will support the General Manager in running property operations, maintaining occupancy, and ensuring a supportive resident environment.

Responsibilities include tenant income certification, lease orientations, certifications, and coordinating maintenance. Strong communication, admin skills, and experience with affordable housing programs are required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing subsidized housing programs is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with LIHTC and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the General Manager in property operations.
• Coordinate new resident lease orientations and certifications.
• Conduct background checks and process approvals with GM and Compliance.
• Manage rent collection, subsidies, and tenant receivables.
• Oversee certifications, income verification, and recertifications.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders and inspect units.
• Maintain tenant relations and enforce rules and regulations.
