Job summary

Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) seeks an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day property operations at 921 Howard St, San Francisco. This on-site role ensures resident services, occupancy targets, and compliance with program rules while supervising front-desk tasks and coordinating maintenance.

You'll oversee tenant certifications, income verifications, and reporting, guide staff, and foster respectful tenant relations.

Qualifications

• Experience serving diverse, low-income, and multi-ethnic communities with respect and empathy.
• Ability to manage subsidized housing programs with LIHTC rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in Income Certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise desk clerks and approve timesheets.
• Oversee tenant certifications and income verifications.
• Collect rent and manage accounts receivable/delinquency records.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders and inspections; ensure property is well-maintained.
• Prepare internal/external reports and maintain accurate records for audits.
