Job summary

Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) is seeking an experienced Resident Manager to live on-site in Oxnard, CA. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations for a 58-unit, veterans and farmworker family housing community, supervise maintenance, manage income certifications, and ensure compliance with occupancy and fair housing rules.

The role requires a minimum 3 years in affordable housing management, bilingual English/Spanish, and on-site leadership to deliver quality, secure housing.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in managing affordable properties; tax credit compliance and reporting training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a 58-unit property for Veterans and farmworker families.
• Supervise on-site maintenance staff and projects to maintain property condition.
• Retain resident files and conduct income certifications per program guidelines.
• Maintain resident relations and fair housing compliance.
• Assist in annual budgeting and monitoring to keep expenses within budget.
• Review monthly financials and prepare variance notes.
• Market and lease vacancies to maintain 100% occupancy.
• Process rent collections and generate reports; manage audits and compliance.
