Job summary

Venice Community Housing is seeking an on-site Property Manager to oversee up to 60 units, including Permanent Supportive Housing and Affordable Housing units. You will handle tenant relations, lease administration, and compliance, reporting to the Regional Property Manager.

Strong coordination with Resident Services is essential. Ideal candidates have at least two years in affordable housing property management, familiarity with HUD/Tax Credit housing, and proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication abilities to manage multiple properties.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced housing environment.
• Experience with resident relations, lease management, and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform lease-up/lease-out to new tenants, including intake interviews and documentation collection.
• Rent collection and tracking, notices, and data entry into property management software.
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and coordinate maintenance and tenant communications.
• Report health, safety, and maintenance issues to management daily.
• Coordinate with resident services for social service needs and recertifications.
