Job summary

Hyder Property Management Professionals is seeking a full-time on-site Property Manager in Perris, CA to oversee 75 units, including a 3-bedroom townhome. The role requires English fluency and basic computer skills, with knowledge of Yardi and Payscan.

The manager directs housing operations, enforces policies, and coordinates with the owner, agency, and management to ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be competent in basic computer skills, typing, spelling, telephone techniques and basic mathematics.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English fluently.
• Must follow Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and read safety labels and follow instructions.
• Ability to follow and issue technical instructions.
• Be able to report to supervisory staff and authorities in English during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Become proficient in the operation of the property computer, scanner, copier, calculator and other office machines.
• Adhere to office schedule as approved by supervisor.
• Present a professional appearance according to business etiquette.
• Attain working knowledge of Yardi and Payscan.
• Attend educational courses as directed by HR or Supervisor.
• Maintain property in compliance with agency rules and procedures within ninety days.
• Supervise maintenance and staff, conduct evaluations.
• Select outside contractors with bids, verify insurance certificates.
• Handle purchasing, PO requests, invoicing and petty cash.
• Establish good resident relations and adhere to housing policies.
• Keep documentation of resident files and incident reports.
• Be bilingual in English and Spanish in some instances.
• Report emergencies to supervisory staff and authorities; follow Crisis Management Procedure.
• Assist in management of other properties or training new managers.
