Job summary

Centerspace is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in Eagan, MN to support our properties. You will assist with routine repairs, repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and painting to ensure resident satisfaction.

The role requires on-call availability on a rotating schedule, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to learn multiple trades. Excellent customer service is essential, with a focus on safety and building upkeep.

• General maintenance skills required for apartment upkeep.
• Ability to perform routine repairs and upkeep tasks.
• Willingness to learn and handle multiple trades as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs and painting/drywall.
• Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of property buildings and grounds.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Respond to resident service requests and track work orders.
