Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to service and maintain a townhome community. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and performing preventative maintenance to uphold safety and Greystar quality standards.

The role requires EPA Type I/II/Universal certifications, a valid driver’s license, and hands-on maintenance experience in a property setting. Strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools; safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to problems.
• Customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for the role.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; PM system preferred.
• Mathematical skills for financial and administrative documents.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and routine upkeep; diagnose and repair issues following safety and code standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units; manage inspections, punch lists, and vendor coordination.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, and interiors to Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by staff and contractors; enforce quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate purchasing to stay within budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and assist budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
