Job summary

Quantum Real Estate Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and operate multiple properties in the Annandale, Virginia area. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate daily work orders, and provide on-call emergency service to ensure safe, clean and attractive living environments.

The role requires on-site availability when needed, strong knowledge of building systems, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of power, water and gas turnoffs.
• Familiarity with fire extinguishers and fire hydrants.
• Willing to assume additional maintenance tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise maintenance staff.
• Maintain cordial relationships with staff and residents.
• Live on-site when required.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Inspect facilities and report problems to management.
• Service appliances, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
