Job summary
McEwen Inc. is seeking a Project Technician to support safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and development of site projects including pilot leach pads and pilot plants.
Responsibilities include daily equipment inspections and assisting with construction, maintenance, and project activities onsite and offsite. The role collaborates with Maintenance, Crushing, ADR and Laboratory teams, requiring strong communication, problem-solving, basic math, and safe operation of mobile equipment.
Qualifications
- One year working in a crushing operation, ADR or similar environment preferred.
- Experience in other gold ore processing phases preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision required.
- Ability to stay alert and recognize possible hazardous conditions required.
- Proven safe work record with belief and value seen in courageous leadership model required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily equipment walk around and work area inspections to identify hazards and keep equipment maintained.
- Monitor equipment and systems to ensure proper operation.
- Participate in development of projects onsite and offsite.
- Assist in construction of pilot leach pads and pilot plants.
- Monitor pilot leach pads and pilot plants.
- Assist other areas like maintenance, crushing, ADR and lab.
