Job summary

Spirax-Sarco Engineering's Chromalox division in La Vergne, TN seeks a Project Manager to drive project delivery from award to installation with an emphasis on outstanding customer service.

The role manages scope, schedule, and budget through the project life cycle and collaborates with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and sales to ensure successful outcomes. Travel ~20% between La Vergne and Ogden, UT is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years managing complex development or manufacturing projects.
• Experience interpreting customer specifications, contract terms, and proposals.
• Familiarity with JDE systems and Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 20% between La Vergne, TN and Ogden, UT.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements and constraints to complete project plan and conduct internal and external kick‑off meetings.
• Responsible for creating and managing project schedule, budget, communication plan, and risk register. Responsible for planning and execution of risk management plans.
• Align project plan with cross-functional groups, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing. Work with cross-functional groups to develop mitigation plans and corrective actions when necessary.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and third‑party inspectors.
• Build customer relationships, while balancing business priorities. Resolve customer complaints and issues.
• Prepare internal and external project reports and conduct project status meetings.
• Manage project scope and changes. Prepare, submit, and manage internal and external change orders,
• Conduct lessons learned to develop and implement corrective actions.

The Role:
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuringsuccessful delivery of projects from award through installation with a focus onexceptional customer service. This role is responsible for executing projectswithin scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project life cycle.
