Job summary

Peter Lucas Project Management is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy industrial capital projects in Nevada. This on-site role requires local residency and a four-day workweek (Monday–Thursday) with 10-hour days.

The incumbent will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic mining/industrial environment. Candidates should have a strong background in industrial construction, contractor management, and capital project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering heavy industrial capital projects.
• Strong background in industrial construction and contractor management.
• Willingness to reside locally in the Elko, NV / Cortez area.
• Ability to work four 10-hour days per week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project execution plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure effective project execution.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage heavy industrial capital construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and operational requirements.
• Review engineering designs and project deliverables to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, and financial reporting.
