Job summary

Peter Lucas Project Management seeks an experienced Project Manager for heavy industrial capital projects in Nevada. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects from initiation through completion in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Based in the Elko, Nevada / Cortez area, the position follows a four 10-hour day schedule with on-site work and local residency requirements. Experience in mining or related heavy industrial sectors is preferred, and living accommodations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent preferred; PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project execution plans with scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resources.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors for effective execution.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to ensure safety, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Manage heavy industrial capital construction activities ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Review designs and project deliverables to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Develop and manage budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, and financial reporting.
