Job summary

AlfaTech is hiring an On-Site Project Manager in Dekalb, IL to serve as the critical link between the construction site and the remote design team. The role focuses on facilitating information flow, coordinating design revisions, and ensuring timely responses to RFIs and submittals across a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of direct industry experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture, and proficiency with MS Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and Procore.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of direct experience in architectural/engineering firms or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, BIM tools, and project coordination software.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time on-site representation for the Firm at the Dekalb, IL project site.
• Coordinate OAEC meetings and facilitate communication between design team and construction team.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, QA/QC observations, and change management processes.
• Assist with design revisions and ensure alignment with field conditions and project schedule.
• Lead information flow and weekly updates to support project delivery.
