Job summary

Juniper in DeKalb, Illinois is seeking an experienced Project Manager to be the primary link between the design team, clients, and contractors during construction. This hands-on role focuses on coordinating activities, resolving design issues, and keeping RFIs and submittals moving on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in an architecture/engineering setting with construction administration, strong communication, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, and Office tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with an architecture or engineering firm, including construction administration.
• Experience with large, complex construction projects; data center, mission-critical, cleanroom, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Solid understanding of construction and engineering processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Comfortable using Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Represent our team on site and serve as the main point of contact during construction.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, and our remote design team to resolve issues quickly.
• Keep RFIs, submittals, changes, and project decisions moving.
• Monitor construction progress and help ensure quality and design intent are maintained.
• Coordinate site visits, meetings, design updates, and project closeout.
• Communicate field conditions and lessons learned back to the design team.
• Help identify and resolve issues before they impact the schedule.
