Job summary

TST Tactical Defense Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects within the Hampton Roads commuting area.

You will coordinate with the Superintendent, manage scope, schedules, procurement, and communications with general contractors, owners, and vendors to deliver projects safely and on budget. This on-site, in-person role requires strong cost control, change management, and documentation, with responsibility for tracking cost versus budget, preparing forecasts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction industry experience, preferably in a subcontractor or specialty trade environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, project scheduling, cost control, contract administration, and document management.
• Experience with budgeting, Cost to Complete forecasting, change orders, billings, and job cost reporting.
• Experience with construction scheduling software and reading drawings.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all project financials, including budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and profitability.
• Coordinate all project activities with the Superintendent/Foreman, field teams, and internal support staff.
• Serve as primary liaison between division leadership, field operations, general contractors, owners, and vendors.
• Prepare, track, and manage submittals, shop drawings, and other required project documentation.
• Prepare and maintain submittal logs, RFI logs, change order logs, and other required project tracking logs.
• Review daily field reports and follow up on issues related to schedule, safety, quality, or productivity.
• Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, as-builts, and final documentation.
