Job summary

SitelogIQ, a rapidly growing energy and facility services company, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager Intern to work from our West Division in Northern California with travel. The role involves supporting project teams, participating in on-site development, and contributing to preconstruction and closeout activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• Knowledge of construction technology and construction management; MS Project, Procore, BlueBeam a plus.
• Must pass background check, drug test and DOJ Live Scan.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supports project team with implementation of contractual scopes of work, including site visits for customer meetings and subcontractor coordination.
• Assist in development and maintenance of preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans, including subcontract creation and equipment procurement PO's.
• Coordinates review and approval from Project Manager and communicates to the project team.
• Support the maintenance of project schedules, including activities lists, durations, and sequencing logic.
• Prepare Monthly Status Reports.
• Interact with clients on assigned projects and promote positive relationships.
• Review all shop drawings and submittals for conformance with the design prior to submission to the design professional.
• Complete close-out requirements and turnover documents.
• Change control documentation and related financial documentation.
• Develop understanding of contract quality in design and construction and support QA for the project.
• Develop knowledge of the project budget and identify exceptions to budget; monitor and report costs.
• Support documentation of projects including saving all project emails, pictures to the company server.
