Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction is seeking a Project HSE Lead to oversee safety and health on a specific project under the Area Manager. The role collaborates with Area HSE Lead, project management, and jobsite personnel to ensure compliance and safety performance.

The ideal candidate has OSHA 30hr-Construction and Competent Person certifications, strong hazard analysis and incident investigation skills, and a proven track record of leading on-site safety programs.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30hr-Construction certification required.
• Competent Person certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains project-specific HASP, AHA, and EMP plans.
• Performs daily hazard hunts and addresses employee observations.
• Maintains project safety information, documents, and metrics.
• Stops unsafe actions and behaviors on the project site.
