Boyd Jones Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team for a project-based role requiring temporary relocation for the duration of the project. You will manage project documentation, support field and office coordination, track quality and progress, and assist with procurement and materials on high-stakes projects.

The role emphasizes precision, proactive planning, and disciplined execution to ensure uptime and accurate project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to Procore, Bluebeam, or scheduling tools preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work safely on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation with accuracy, ensuring all docs are organized, current, and complete.
• Support field and office coordination, maintain look-ahead schedules and coordinate subcontractors and vendors.
• Track deadlines, QA/QC documentation, and progress reporting, ensure information flows between office and field.
• Assist with procurement and material logs, track deliveries, and report discrepancies promptly.
