Job summary

Hired is seeking a construction project-control professional to support commercial-project delivery in Akron, OH. The role involves maintaining logs, coordinating field activities, and building experience in estimating, scheduling, procurement, and financial tracking.

Key duties include managing submittals, RFI logs, takeoffs, reviewing drawings, coordinating material deliveries, tracking costs, and preparing closeout documentation. Travel up to 10% and an annual bonus are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Understanding of commercial drawings, specifications, submittals, and field coordination.
• OSHA 30 certificate or willingness to obtain it and valid driver's license.
• Strong communication, discretion, organization, planning, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain submittal, request-for-information, and plan-revision logs.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for estimates, schedules, and subcontractor procurement.
• Review drawings and specifications for constructability, accuracy, and completeness.
• Coordinate material deliveries and support schedule monitoring.
• Track job costs, assemble financial data, process subcontractor pay applications, and update margin reporting.
• Record site photos, support permits, and prepare weekly meeting minutes.
• Support safety programs, as-built drawings, and complete closeout documentation.
