Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join the on-site Engineering Department for a hyper-scale data center project near Amarillo, TX. You will provide technical and administrative support across the project lifecycle, coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to maintain milestones and safety, quality, and constructability standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project engineering in commercial building construction.
• Deep understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and commissioning workflows.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, structural engineering, construction management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support meetings with area managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Interface between managers and subcontractors to resolve field coordination items.
• Review drawings and documents to quantify materials and ensure constructability.
• Coordinate CSA systems within the project scope and support QA/QC activities.
