Job summary

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support project completion starting on-site with the crew, ensuring material and resource readiness, and handling documentation for the project.

You will plan ahead to set the crew up for success and work closely with Project Managers and Supervisors. The role requires a 2+ year background in construction, plus 3-5 years in wastewater, concrete, or heavy civil, with travel up to 80-90 percent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering or related field and 2+ years of related experience in construction, or equivalent combination.
• 3-5 years of experience in waste water, concrete, or heavy civil
• Industrial and mechanical background preferred
• Valid driver license and travel 80-90% are required

Responsibilities

• Support all needs to ensure a successful project completion on site with the crew.
• Document and record entry for the project and plan for upcoming days/weeks; set the crew and project up for success.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to communicate and coordinate.
