Job summary

WCG Construction in Englewood, CO seeks a Project Engineer to support field operations, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality on construction projects.

You’ll coordinate with field leaders, manage RFIs, submittals, and procurement, and help drive on-site execution from pre-construction through closeout.

The role requires a relevant degree or 4+ years of experience, strong communication, Procore and scheduling familiarity, and a collaborative, safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years progressive construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience with Procore, OSHA 10, and First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to coordinate meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day field operations, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.
• Oversee materials, quality control, and admin tasks on site.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, procurement, and closeouts.
• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with coordination.
• Lead project closeout documents and owner handover.
