Job summary

MBP (McDonough Bolyard Peck) is seeking a Project Engineer to provide on-site project support for pre-construction and construction activities across higher education, healthcare, and public sectors. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and timely deliverables in a hands-on environment.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) and may pursue FE/EIT and OSHA certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Licensure may be required; Consultant title used until licensure.
• Engineering principles of construction management and project controls.
• Experience with CPM scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, delay analysis.
• Reading/writing English technical reports; arithmetic and geometry.
• Familiarity with electronic project management tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project docs, cost estimates, schedules, and plan reviews.
• Review records, schedules, and as-builts to evaluate changes.
• Apply techniques to support project objectives and decisions.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of deliverables under varying workloads.
• Participate in MBP training, activities, and administrative duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
