Job summary

MBP is seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager for on-site support in New Haven, CT. You will act as the client’s on-site representative, applying engineering knowledge to plan and execute pre-construction and construction tasks across higher education, healthcare, and public sectors.

Responsibilities include preparing documents, evaluating change orders, and maintaining schedules while ensuring quality. A B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Licensing: professional license may be required in some jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of construction management and project controls.
• Experience with on-site pre-construction and construction support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site client representative supporting planning and execution.
• Prepare and review project records, schedules, and change orders.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of deliverables amid workload fluctuations.
• Collaborate with MBP team leaders to meet project objectives.
• Participate in MBP training and administrative duties.
