Job summary

Idaho Forest Group is seeking a Production Operator in Lewiston, ID to operate machinery that processes logs into lumber and wood products. Starting wage is $24.59 per hour with a $500 sign-on bonus. Shifts include M-F Day/Swing and F-M Day, on-site work in Lewiston.

Emphasis on safety, quality control, and efficient operation within a team environment. Responsibilities include learning machine operation, following JSAs and safety protocols, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting various

Qualifications

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work various shifts, days, and overtime as needed.
• Capable of following instructions and communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
• Must possess an attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or mill environment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
• Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned.
• Understand and actively apply yourself in the operator work-up program to advance through training and experience.
• Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of functions, machinery and workstations.
• Keep work area clean and organized and clean all additional areas as assigned.
• Duties vary by location.
