Qualifications

• No lumber mill experience required.
• Entry-level opportunity.
• Background in physical work such as construction, warehouse operations, farming, production, manufacturing, general labor, or related industries.
• Experience in loud, dusty, fast-paced environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment to keep lumber moving through the production line.
• Monitor conveyors, scanners, saws, stackers, and automated systems.
• Inspect boards for defects and sort or feed them into the next machine.
• Clear small jams, make basic adjustments, and keep your station running smoothly.
• Communicate with team members to keep the line in sync.
• Rotate through multiple positions and learn all major areas of green-lumber production.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and machine-awareness protocols.
