Job summary

Envirosafe Tanks in Bushnell, FL, is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily shop operations for a team of 25–30. You will develop production plans, manage scheduling, and ensure quality and equipment reliability while enforcing safety standards.

You will oversee fabrication, paint/blast, and maintenance departments, drive continuous improvements, and report to the Managing Director. The role requires exceptional leadership, cost control, and a commitment to product quality.

Qualifications

• Leadership of fabrication/manufacturing operations with people, scheduling, quality, and equipment readiness.
• Ability to evaluate drawings, workmanship, and operation sequences.
• Experience supervising industrial maintenance and evaluating repairs and downtime.
• Develop department leads, coordinate multiple trades, and exercise hiring/discipline decisions.
• Clear communication and maintaining production plans, records and follow-ups.
• Welding experience preferred; or strong leadership in low-volume, high-mix production with proven results.

Responsibilities

• Production & workflow oversight: plan and execute work orders within labor-hour budgets.
• Coordinate fabrication, welding, blasting, painting, and detailing to complete jobs under budget.
• Ensure quality at every station handoff and verify drawings and welds; correct defects downstream.
• Maintain 90%+ paid staff time on value-added work; monitor labor hours and coach teams.
