Job summary

Boeing in Heath, Ohio is seeking a warehouse specialist for 1st shift to move and track materials, monitor in‑process activity and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to keep production on schedule.

Required are a High School/GED and 3+ years working with suppliers or supplier management; a Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred and knowledge of engineering drawings and inventory control is valuable.

Qualifications

• Experience with suppliers in a technical environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage to support the flow of production.
• Monitors work in process.
• Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods.
• Identifies and solves problems with parts and materials using established procedures.
• Coordinates with various functions to set priorities and expedite production activities to avoid delays.
• Works under general supervision.
