Job summary

Boeing in Heath, Ohio is seeking a warehouse specialist for 1st shift to move and track materials, monitor in‑process activity and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to keep production on schedule.

Required are a High School/GED and 3+ years working with suppliers or supplier management; a Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred and knowledge of engineering drawings and inventory control is valuable.

Position Responsibilities
  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions
  • Monitors work in process
  • Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability
  • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes
  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays
  • Works under general supervision
Minimum Education Required

High School/GED

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • More than 3 years of experience in Analytical Skills, Understanding Engineering Drawings, and Inventory Control.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 3 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
Conflict Of Interest

On‑Site

This position is expected to 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on‑site at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift.

Typical Education/Experience
