Job summary

The Boeing Company in Heath, Ohio is seeking an Industrial Engineer, Mid-Career to support the Minuteman III GNSR program. The role is onsite in Heath, OH, with 1st shift. The position requires a U.S. Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities include optimizing production layouts, capacity planning, LEAN initiatives, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals. Relocation is not offered; local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years' related work experience.
  • Experience with Depot Level Repair and Maintenance.
  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance (preferred).
  • Bachelor or Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred).
  • Experience implementing One Boeing Production System (OneBPS) or similar Lean Production System (preferred).
  • Experience working under an AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) (preferred).

  • Ensures compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines.
  • Lead or support LEAN production activities and workshops.
  • Interacts frequently with inter-organizational personnel and external customers.

The Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS), Space Weapons and Information Systems is seeking an Industrial Engineer, Mid-Career to support the Minuteman III Guidance and Navigation System Repair (GNSR) program. This job location will be in Heath, Ohio.

Position Responsibilities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This worksite participates in Boeing’s optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret – Final Post-Start

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5 or more years' related work experience
  • Experience with Depot Level Repair and Maintenance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor or Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Experience implementing One Boeing Production System (OneBPS) or similar Lean Production System
  • Experience working under an AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS).

Summary pay range: $ 100,300 – $ 135,700
